BedAiD® surgical burn mattress is a type of antidecubitic mattress used after surgical interventions, especially burn treatment.
It is designed to prevent the drainage, catheter and similar apparatus used in the back and waist areas after surgical interventions on the spinal cord from harming the patient.
Produced with liquid-proof, flame-retardant polyurethane fabric, the elevation cushion is supported with antibacterial, antifungal and antimite finishes. It does not contain germs, bacteria and fungi.

Product Description
BedAiD® surgical burn mattress is an antidecubitic mattress designed to provide the conditions needed after surgical interventions.
The antidecubitic mattress has a 10 cm wide hole in the center. This hole continues for 80 cm from the back to the coccyx.
It can be used in the treatment of patients requiring mechanical ventilation because it meets the requirements of intubated patients who need to lie prone. The width and length of the hole along the antidecubitic mattress can be changed.
It is recommended to be used as an intensive care mattress with a separate cover for each patient during epidemic control periods.
Especially after surgical interventions in the spinal cord, drainage, probe and similar apparatus used in the back and waist regions are aimed at zero friction by giving down through this hole in the bed without harming the patient.
Antidecubitic mattress
On the one hand, this space allows the patient to sleep in a healthy way without being damaged by hospital equipment, while the visco sponge and feather material used in the production of the bed protects the patient from the risk of pressure sores. Thus, the patient is also protected from secondary complications (pressure sores, infection, etc.).
It can also be used as a burn mattress in burn units and burn centers.

It can be produced for each patient receiving burn treatment in mobile burn treatment units, burn centers, burn units or at home, according to the patient's height, weight, stage and area of the burn, with the guidance of health experts and providing the necessary information.
BedAiD® surgical burn mattress standard dimensions are 90x190x20 cm.
The lying surface consists of 5 cm thick high density BDVisco® elastic material. The middle layer is made of 5 cm thick down material. Antidecubitic mattress bottom support layer is high density sponge.
Antidecubitic mattress cover has a full-length zipper and is made of polyurethane fabric.
It has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-mite properties by being supported with aprons. In this way, it does not harbor germs and bacteria. It is non-flammable.
The cover can be wiped, washed and replaced with all standard disinfectants used in hospitals.
It is recommended to prefer BedAiD® Hospital Mattress or BedAiD® BD-HOSPITAL air mattresses suitable for the use of multiple patients, which provide more advanced protection for the risks that may occur in long-term hospitalization, especially bedsores.
