BedAiD® disabled mattress is a home care bed specially designed for all users with physical limitations, especially wheelchair users.
While standard beds do not offer any solution for people with mobility limitations, BedAiD® disabled mattress is specially produced to meet all the needs of users.
The R&D phase was developed in line with the ideas of disabled users and finalized after numerous trials. It is a utility model protected product. It is unique in the world.
Home care bed
It is especially designed as a home care mattress for wheelchair users to transition from mattress to wheelchair, from wheelchair to bed without the need for anyone's help.
It is also an effective home care mattress in terms of providing the acceleration required for right-left turns in bed.

1- Ease of transition to the mattress:
There is a 12 cm wide padding strip made of hard foam on both sides of the bed.
In this way, the support needed by the person during the transition from the wheelchair to the bed or from the wheelchair to the bed is provided and both the ease of transition is created and the need for balance and safety is met. (The softness in standard beds causes great difficulties in the transition to the bed).
2- Ease of movement in mattress:
50 cm long bars made of aluminum material are embedded in the side surface of the mattress. When the person reaches out to turn, it is positioned so that it is right under the hand.
The 12cm padding strip on the sides - especially on beds measuring 90cmx190cm - is a great advantage when standing up on your elbows. The optimized softness of the mattress provides the firmness that the person needs when standing up on their elbows or when they want to move left and right.
3- Hardness/softness in moderation:
The top layer of the BedAiD® disabled mattress that meets the body is made of high density BDVisco® elastic material.
Since the excessive softness of the standard visco material will cause the person to sink into the bed and have excessive difficulty in moving, the visco material is specially hardened and special materials are placed in the bottom layer to support the weight.
In this way, comfort is not compromised and the ability to move freely on the mattress is provided.
4- Comfortable and safe sleep:
While offering the firmness the person needs, it does not compromise on comfort as a home care mattress.
It distributes the body weight evenly on the bed whether lying on the back, face down or on the side. It provides a comfortable sleep and eliminates the risk of pressure sores.
5- Liquid-proof and washable cover:
The mattress cover is made of liquid-proof cotton-towel fabric covered with a membrane.
The top cover, which is also enclosed by a zipper, can be easily separated from the bottom cover, removed and washed.
6- Catheter Hanger:
There is a probe hanger on the sides of the home care bed for use in case of need.
